What we collect

• Your question text — automatically scrubbed of SSN/EIN/account/phone/email patterns before storage.
• An email address, only if you choose to provide one to ask more questions. It is remembered against your browser's cookie so you don't have to re-enter it. Used to deter abuse and, if you ask us to, to follow up. Not sold.
• A hashed (not raw) IP address and a browser cookie, used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
• Feedback you submit on answers.

How questions are processed

Question text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API (our AI processor) to generate the answer, subject to Anthropic's data terms. Don't include personal identifiers in questions.

Publication

Approved Q&As appear publicly. We review and can edit or anonymize questions before publication; contact us to request removal of a published question you submitted.

Retention & contact
